SAMOSAS. 75.

One of Ani's signature dishes, these delightful samosas are made with a spicy chicken and vegetable filling wrapped in home made pastry with cumin.

 Served with home made Tamarin sauce .

 

LUMPIA. 75.

Traditional Indonesian spring roll. Tasty chicken and seasonal vegetable are wrapped in a home made pancake and fried until crisp. 

Served with home made sweet and sour sauce.

 

VIETNAMESE SPRING ROLL. 75.

Inspired by traditional Vietnamese spring rolls, chicken or pork, mixed with rice noodles and fresh herbs and vegetables, are served hot in a crunchy rice paper wrap.

SOTO AYAM. 75

Delicious Indonesian chicken soup - rich and fragrant with turmeric, shallots, lemongrass, ginger and garlic. Rice noodles are topped with the broth and garnished with chicken, egg and fresh herbs. A great  dish to share. 

 

AROMATIC CHICKEN & COCONUT MILK SOUP. 75

This light, fragrant, Thai style creamy chicken soup is flavoured with coconut milk, lemon grass, ginger and lime. Its flavours offer a beautiful combination of sweet, salty and sour .

 

CHICKEN OR PORK SATE. 75.

Tender pieces of chicken or pork marinated, grilled and served with a delightful home made peanut sate sauce.

 

TAMARIND PORK RIBS. 75.

A Bahagia speciality. Lean pork ribs simmered until tender in tamarind sauce. 

 

SANG CHOY BOW. 75.

Wok cooked chicken or pork mince deliciously flavoured with oyster sauce, soy, fresh herbs, garlic, ginger, shallots and chopped nuts served in crisp lettuce or cabbage leaves. 

 

NASI GORENG. 75. 

Our version of this traditional dish is made with wok cooked chicken flavoured with freshly ground spices, keycap manis, soy, shallots, garlic and chilli folded through cooked rice. Served with a fried egg, krupuk (traditional crackers) and pickles.

MIE GORENG. 75.

Prepared and served in the same way as Nasi Goreng using noodles instead of rice.

Crumbed chicken pieces served with tomato sauce and lemon wedges. Great for the kids. Our nuggets are served with fries.

 

B.L.T.  75.

Crisp bacon, sliced fresh tomato and lettuce served between toast with mayonnaise, tomato sauce or hot english mustard. Our BLTs are served with fries.

 

SPAGHETTI  BOLOGNESE.  85.

This classic all time favourite is perfect for the kids. Top quality beef mince simmered with fresh herbs, tomatoes, onions and garlic served folded through spaghetti and topped with shaved pecorino.

 

CHICKEN CACCIATORE .  125.

A hearty Italian classic. Pieces of chicken cooked in a delicious sauce of tomato, fresh herbs, garlic, shallots, celery, chillies, and capsicum. We serve our Cacciatore with pasta, shaved pecorino cheese and a side salad.

OUR SALADS ARE MADE FRESH ON ORDER USING HERBS AND SALAD VEGETABLES FROM THE VILLA GARDEN WHEN IN SEASON.

 

Our dressings are all made using extra virgin olive oil. Salads are prepared for the table. Please talk to Ani if you would like an individual salad.

 

 

 

 

CLASSIC GARDEN SALAD. 80.

Fresh mixed seasonal salad vegetables and herbs, many from the garden of the villa, topped with nuts and pecorino cheese and dressed with virgin olive oil and white wine vinegar.

 

ROCKET AND PECORINO.  80.

Freshly picked rocket from the villa garden is dressed with extra vigil olive oil, lime juice and sprinkled with pecorino cheese, nuts and fresh herbs

 

COLESLAW. 80.

Freshly shredded cabbage mixed with a selection of seasonal vegetable, pecorino cheese and nuts dressed with lime juice and virgin olive oil. 

 

WATERMELON SALAD. 80

A refreshing salad of watermelon, shallots and mint or coriander dressed with virgin olive oil and fresh lime juice.

 

URAP. 80

A traditional warm Indonesian salad dish of seasonal vegetables steamed and dressed with spiced grated coconut dressing.

 

BEAN KALAS. 80

One of our favourites! Long beans are steamed and shredded. A sauce of freshly ground spices is folded through the warm beans. Try it. We love it.

 

GADO-GADO. 80

 One of the most popular salads in Indonesia. Gado-Gado means potpourri, referring to all the different seasonal vegetables and ingredients that are used making it slightly different whatever the time of year. 

An addictive, aromatic peanut sauce ties it all together. It’s a winning combination.

ASIAN CHICKEN -BOSS'S FAVOURITE.

Marylands of chicken poached in a sauce delicately flavoured with asian spices. The boss loves this dish!

 

CURRY AYAM120.

Traditional Indonesian chicken curry -  tender pieces of chicken and potato simmered in a fragrant, vibrant yellow sauce with shallots, garlic and freshly ground spices -  turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, galangal, cumin and coriander. 

 

CHICKEN AMOK. 120.

One of our favourite curries, Chicken Amok is a creamy curry of chicken and potato delicately flavoured with freshly ground spices of galangal, turmeric, garlic, lemon grass, shallots and lime leaf. 

 

RENDANG - BEEF OR PORK .120.

A spicy traditional  curry originating in Indonesia. Succulent pieces of beef or pork are poached in a rich sauce of freshly ground spices, coconut milk and lime leaves. 

 

AYAM BETUTU. 120.

Another traditional Indonesian favourite. Whole chicken is marinated in a combination of freshly ground spices, shallots, garlic, turmeric, ginger, galangal,chillies and  pepper. The chicken is then wrapped in banana leaf and steamed preserving the moisture of the chicken. 

 

PORK & POTATO VINDALOO. 120.

This delicious curry combines freshly ground spices of cumin, coriander, cloves, turmeric, paprika and cardamon with sautéed onion, garlic and chillies creating a sauce in which pieces of pork and potato are gently simmered until tender.

 

VEGETABLE CURRY. 120.  V 

The full flavour of this curry comes from a combination of spices including coriander, cumin, turmeric and cinnamon creating a rich sauce. Tofu is added is you wish.

 

ALOO GOBI. 100.   V

Potato and cauliflower are simmered in a spicy gravy with freshly ground spices - ginger, garlic, garam masala, cumin and coriander.

These beautiful little meringue nests are both crunchy and soft. Topped with ice-cream and tropical fruit in season, they melt in your mouth.
